As a Pig I Get Hungry

Tegan thinks she is my person, but in all honestly I have my own Buttler who caters to all needs. Don’t get me wrong I love my person, I think of her as my  adopted mother, and she is my favorite person in the whole world. 100% irreplaceable.vShe is the best person to snuggle and get pets scratches from. I love to snuggle with her because she knows all the good scratch spots and alway get the spot I can’t reach.

But honestly but she dose make a really good butler. Everyone should have a person, they are awsome! I get ornery of my very important schedule I made and a routine get ignored. Its ok if their is about a 2 1/2 hr variance, Paul fills in or a staff member.

My Approximate Schedule

Tegan is amazing, but she can be dingy and lose track of time. So on ocasion she is late for a meal. She leaves me no chose but to go a looking for her. I am a HUGE grouch and get a bad case of the HANGARY’S…when I am hungry or my routine is off. (Please don’t get in my way or try to take a picture with me when I am upset. It’s not like I  am going to bight or hurt you but I am not cooperative, pushy and rude)  By this point I am getting mad so I start screaming very loud to get her attention with a few, Okink, Oink Oink …….Oink, Oink Oink……Ahoooooooooooo Oink,  Groink unhappy…, oink, oink, …….”Pause”  RELALY AHHHHEEEEEeeeaeaeee, in-between the screaming. By this time I am getting very upset and proceeded to screaming at the top of my lounge. I add a few bellows under my breath fowled by, a long extended UNHAPPY GGGRRRRROOOOOOOAOAOOINK………and I will either pace back and forth continuing to look for her. If she is behind  door I will stand there and continue to scream for her. My new trick I learned to page. It works every time quickly. I will climb on to the dispensaries deck and plop my self down on the top of the 420 Green Genies deck and block the door. Usually a staff member will attempt to bribe me I am like “No thank you, go call TGEAN!!!” and I will not move for anyone. No one in no one out until Tegan arrives….No one in, NO one out….and I wont move for any treats until Tegan arrives….. KNOW…Hurry and call her.  Continuous back in forth where I think she is or I give up and go

Lots of fresh Fruit and Veggies (He only likes few): Fred is very picky and will only eat cucumbers, potatoes, cooked corn on the cob, occasionally a mushroom, zuqunies, kiwi, eggplant stash, pumpkins, all types of berries, AVOCADOS (or even better guacamole one of my favorite foods), tomatoes, bananas, papaya, sweep potatoes, apples (or better apple sauce), pears, peaches, plumbs ummm…other then that he is picky when it comes to

celery, lettuce, green peppers, cabbage, asparagus (maybe if its cooked), carrots, radishes, onions, brockley (maybe if its cooked and I am starving) and…..a lot more

Pigs must always have clean, fresh water to drink.

One pig needs at least 5 to 10 litres of water every day.

When they are feeding young, sows need to drink more water because they have to produce milk.

The water must be put in the shade.

to 10 litres
It is very important to make sure the container cannot be turned over. Tie it to a post or pole in the ground.

Pigs are single-stomach animals and require two or three meals a day.

Divide the food into two portions, feed the pigs half in the morning and the rest in the evening.

Do not feed your pigs only once a day because once they had their fill they will only play with the rest of the food, stand in it and soil it. This food is going to waste and the pigs will be left hungry.

Pigs can eat all kinds of scraps, or leftover food such as mealie-pap, bread, vegetables, fruit and pig pellets. Real pig pellets are, however, the best feed.
Do not only feed one vegetable (such as cabbage), because pigs need a varied diet to stay healthy.

Even cutting grass (especially green grass) and feeding this in small quantities will help supplement the pigs’ diet.

Pigs must not be fed waste or plastic.

It is important that small or weak pigs should be fed separately from the bigger ones, because these stronger pigs will eat all the food.

If you have more than four adult pigs, then food should be divided into two containers, so that every animal can have a share
